{"id":2637,"date":"2025-05-07T08:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-07T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/migmatit.se\/?p=2637"},"modified":"2025-05-06T16:17:30","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T14:17:30","slug":"%f0%9f%8e%a8-ledarpaletten-del-2-att-leda-med-hela-paletten","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/migmatit.se\/en\/%f0%9f%8e%a8-ledarpaletten-del-2-att-leda-med-hela-paletten\/","title":{"rendered":"\ud83c\udfa8 The Leadership Palette \u2013 Part 2: Leading with Your Full Palette"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2728 From Self-Awareness to True Leadership Expression<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not enough to <em>know<\/em> who you are as a leader.<br>What truly matters is <em>how you use that<\/em> \u2013 in your interactions, in the choices you make, and in what you do every single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Part 1, I described how each leader carries a palette of colours \u2013 strengths, perspectives, abilities and expressions \u2013 that form your unique leadership.<br>But it\u2019s here, in <strong>the everyday choices and actions<\/strong>, that real change happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it starts with <strong>your own conscious choice.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83e\udde0 Why \u201ccolours\u201d go further than \u201cboxes\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>DISC and other personality tests have helped many people understand their behaviours.<br>But they\u2019re based on the idea that you <em>are<\/em> a certain type.<br>When I talk about The Leadership Palette, I\u2019m coming from another place:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf00 That you have access to more colours than you may currently use<br>\ud83c\udf00 That leadership isn\u2019t who you are \u2013 it\u2019s how you choose to show up<br>\ud83c\udf00 That growth comes through conscious choice, not new labels<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t just get insight \u2013 you gain a language, a way to navigate, and a toolbox for <strong>everyday leadership decisions.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s the difference between having a map \u2013 and actually reading the landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf31 How to Use Your Palette in Practice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Using your Leadership Palette is about <strong>colour awareness:<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Observe the situation:<\/strong> What\u2019s needed here? Structure, energy, care, direction?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Choose your colour:<\/strong> Which quality in me can best respond to this?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Act intentionally:<\/strong> How do I express this \u2013 in words, tone, presence?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s about being able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shift from <em>blue<\/em> to <em>green<\/em> when a meeting needs momentum instead of analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Invite <em>red<\/em> when a conversation calls for empathy over problem-solving<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Step into <em>yellow\/orange<\/em> when the team needs renewed direction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udca1 It\u2019s not about becoming someone else \u2013 it\u2019s about using more of <strong>who you already are.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd8c\ufe0f You\u2019re Not Fixed in One Colour \u2013 You Are a Whole Palette<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A common misconception is that colours \u201cbelong\u201d to certain personality types.<br>But the colours in your palette are <strong>behaviours and qualities<\/strong> \u2013 not identities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just like you can speak different languages, you can express different colours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s that <strong>flexibility with colour<\/strong> that makes you powerful as a leader \u2013 not being \u201cstrong red\u201d or \u201cvery green\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the best part? You can train it \u2013 just like any other muscle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd04 From Self-Awareness to Systemic Impact<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you lead with your full palette, the ripple effects go far beyond yourself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfaf Your meetings become more focused \u2013 but also more human<br>\ud83c\udfaf Your team feels safe to show up more fully \u2013 unlocking creativity<br>\ud83c\udfaf Your communication lands more clearly \u2013 because you\u2019re in touch with yourself and others<br>\ud83c\udfaf Your organisation gains a leader who doesn\u2019t just \u201cdo the right thing\u201d \u2013 but <strong>shows up with presence, courage and adaptability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re no longer just leading with structure \u2013 you\u2019re leading with presence, meaning and intentional colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2728 So What Does It Take to Use Your Palette?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Courage to let go of old beliefs<\/strong> \u2013 about what a leader \u201cshould\u201d be<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reflection on which colours you tend to use \u2013 and which ones have gathered dust<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Practice in shifting colours \u2013 not as a performance, but as an honest expression<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And most importantly: <strong>a willingness to be more of you \u2013 not less<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf08 Your Leadership Isn\u2019t a Colour Code \u2013 It\u2019s a Living Work of Art<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your palette isn\u2019t something you fill in once and forget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a living language for growth \u2013 from the inside out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And it doesn\u2019t start with what others need \u2013 it starts with you <strong>daring to use your whole self.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfa8 Next time you walk into a meeting, ask yourself:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Which colour am I bringing in right now?<br>What\u2019s truly needed here \u2013 and how do I want to contribute?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>You have more colours than you think.<br>And when you start using them intentionally \u2013 something begins to shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not just within
